US markets diving ...

 morning ... 8.45am. US markets dived into RED RED as US election approaching ... did u sell off your positions or at least trimmed?

some two weeks ago, when GREED in play and KLCI moving lower, I have given enough warning of the RISK of sell-down ahead of US election ... so ...

If u r holding to some stocks MEAN ... u r preparing to average down?

I will rather wait till US election is over then the FED meeting ... let them talk and fight ... as traders, we should WAIT for things to settle ... and have no opinions on whatever or whoever..

Keep cash ...do some reading on trading, plan for 2025. 

AND stay healthy, even markets are not. haha.

Oct 31 : KLCI 1600 level

 morning ... will only leave this blog end of DEC and going to my new blog 2025 which planning to focus blogging .... comprehensive and more info there ...

Yeah ... I do need the momentum , it is like no running for 8 yrs ... to re-start and run a marathon or even half-marathon like ... arrghh ... thoughts of it , very scary indeed.

KLCI diving to 1601 now ... as end OCT effect and US election kinda-risk off ... I hv sold most of my stocks 1-2 weeks ago, only holding few to ADD in if there is any SELLDOWN seen after the US election, markets are pointing to TRUMP VICTORY ... to me, I do not care . haha

LONG : 1580 level. 

SHORT 1630 level. 

FKLI : No positions and not going to take any over-the-US-election. 

With cash in hands, will wait for selldown with :

1. tech-stocks in mind

2. plantation stocks in hands

3. oversold blue-chips to add.

Festive of lights ...

 Happy Deepavali wishes to those celebrating ... do invite me to your home (where also I can travel for nice muruku ya) ...

Nov and Dec would see me STUDYING .... trading : and managing funds. 

I would spend 2-3 hours focusing on WHAT I need to learn and how to do well in coming 2025, managing the funds and risk ... to maximize profits.

My stock-pick is good due to my vast experiences ... and I just need to learn on allocation of funds vs risk management and see how I could capitalize on opportunities arise ...

that is my current plan for Nov-Dec as I would be in MONK-mode ... disappearing from social media and only interested in my own closed-trading group.

Long break … ahead

 10.45am …having my breakfast and that Nescafé smell soooo good. Haha 

Trying to blog … using my iPad, as each time I m on the move, I would be using iPad for my checking, reading etc … it is my companion for my trading … as mobile-trading is now available online with APPS. 

Incredibly cool, right ? Click here and that buy-sell button, we could see the money flowing … profit or loss after we exit. 

Currently I m trading HSI-CXY and YTL (sold for profits so far but hope to buyback on pullback) … nothing much. Just to keep my focus intact … while not watching much .

It is a Deepavali break soon … by tmr , I will have a long break till next Wed, where I would be back here , KL, for invigilation of my Assessment 2 paper ..then off another week … looong break for me to focus on myself …

Exercise la … reading and rest. My mental need that … and re-charge …what is that word …mmmm … rejuvenate. Ah, thanks for that word. 

Where should I go this holiday break? Wanted to go Penang so much but each time thinking of the JAM … malas dah … dislike the JAM … unnecessary waste of time. 

How about JB? Arghh … jam too … crowded … and too many sporeans there … things there more expensive as they expect us to be sporeans too. Arghh

Utilities Index : broken support

 Yesterday, TENAGA decided to go RED ... that ENERGY generated breaks the support of the index and TENAGA is the leader ... big bro of all ...

Arghh ... it is broken, no more uptrend ... I was so focus in these uptrending index : Tenaga, YTLPower... 

So so ... sell on rebound. 

Is TENAGA still uptrending ... was checking ... and only supported by 100MA ... so, to me it is start of DOWNTREND.

With Tenaga , YTL and YTLPower diving down, UTILITIES index would be bearish and these are index-linked components ... expect KLCI to move lower ... 1600 next?

 morning ... to realize that we have two more months left ... it is like ... arrghhh how fast 2024 flies ....

so, I will want to re-settle myself in the coming two months. Focus in myself ...

Health : need to get back to exercise, meditate and fasting ... please reduce intake of food. Please ... 

Wealth : nothing to shout about in 2024 as didn't double my funds ... waiting for bull markets in HK. 

As I m slowing my life ... it is tough on my body to keep up with the pace ... from teaching in college, online classes and monitoring markets for hours. I have issues on 'sleeping well' now ... and that need to re-adjust. 

From extreme greed at 75 to current ...ahead of US election with many stating TRUMP to win. 

finding myself not in trades ... only focusing in FKLI and short day-trades. Bad markets, the more we trade ... the more we will lose. remind each other ... GET OUT. 

ending of OCT ... I m almost all in cash. Do nothing and only check after Nov 6th.

 noon ... 1pm. KLCI surge up and I shorted but covered too early as it shot up so much and dived so much ...the swing = volatile ... profited RM500 today from FKLI. 

As I m on RISK-OFF mode, I hv sold most of my stocks and today selling more ...sold all Gamuda at cost and cutloss on RHB. A total kinda risk-off ahead of US election as I prefer to watch ...

US election ... awaiting ...

 2.35pm ... didn't go college today, not so-well ...suspecting covid-24. 

KLCI minus 7 points .... and covered my two shorts done, so wait to short again on rebound. It is RISK-OFF and for those not shorting ... keeping cash and wait for election to be over would be advisable. 

Due to finger-itchy syndrome, I bought a few and still have in hands to dispose ... sell sell sell!! Arghhh ... tie the hands, chop off those fingers!! 

According to the latest, Kamala still leading slimly ... or is she? Markets expecting Trump to win, ya. 

Stay away from markets and watch the game ...

A day after selling ...

 morning ...a day after I sold off almost all my holdings ...ahead of the US election. Polls showing Trump is going to win ...with BTC celebrating ...pending breakout USD70k. 

time to slow down ... delete off many in the stock-list and re-start. 

It takes load of work ... well, two weeks ... would be busy preparing for coming selldown. Meanwhile, relax bah ... stocks up up, then down down ... down more, then only buy in.

 1pm ... selling spree this morning, clearing off many ... and need to control myself from impulsive buying ... so, I took a nap!! haha.

 morning ... almost 8am. drizzling in KL city here at the moment ... looking out of the window , the position I m sitting here in the classroom ... it is AIA building. 

so, i didnt take my 'usual' morning walk ... and able to sit here to blog instead. I do need to schedule to blog 15 mins per day ... per writing/post.

Sector Watch : Plantation

 noon ,,, doing my routine weekly printing and updating of charts. 

This week/month would be focusing on PLANTATION stocks as FCPO moving above RM4k again ...

This is monthly PLANTATION chart ... nicely rebounded from support and inching higher ... breakout is a buy?

one thing retailers need to learn : BREAKOUT from your closed mind ... learn that and adapt to survive. 

note : I m holding two plantation stocks and adding more this week after I sold off my banking-stocks.

 6.45pm ... done gardening. Time to share a chart which I shared this morning with my-trading group, as it is O&G which I didnt cjheck for looong time after I sold off Perdana(it went up higher)

There ... I bought there and ride up , traded up few O&G counters ... Perdana, Armada etc ... and sold there ... didnt look back as I m focusing in other sector. 

As WTI below USD70 now .. time to re-check on those O&G counters.
