New IPO : GoHub (code 0311)

 morning ...7.50am ... Monday ...trading day! End of JULY. 

GoHub : saw it breakout new high on Friday ...too slow to buy in managed some and sold off at 1.12 ... for my RM200. done. Took back some 10lots at 1.15 for monitoring and would be buying back on pullback today ... if not? well sell her off for another RM200 at 1.35? hmm ..

I would update later once the market opens and trades are done!!

Strategy : Buy on pullback (100MA)

 Morning ... while I m trading UPTRENDING NEW HIGH for past months (DC theme play) ... let me take a look at those case which are 52w high, bottoming out from the crash. 

Using AEMULUS as an example ... it is just for learning purposes. Perhaps I shall take it for back-testing to see if it works.

This is a year time from chart. There is NO REASON for entry at current price tho it is near support. SUPPORT IS NOT A BUY.

higher-low ... highest point 47.5 ...buy only if ABOVE 45cents for breakout. 

what if we want to enter now? U need to ask yourself what strategy u would be using? Stoc-crossover , oversold? support 100MA? what is in your mind for entry --- mechanical and technical ... your opinions are NOT needed and are noises. 

entry CRITERIA is very important as it determines our strategy. in this case, it is BUYING ON PULLBACK but without entry SIGNALS, no reason to buy in ... and how about the exit point? EXIT strategy is depending on our ENTRY strategy OK? understand trading?

So ... if I m going to trade AEMULUS (I won't as I only BUY UPTREND BREAKOUT currently) , I would wait for stoc-crossover. then decide on the position size, and the risk level. It looks good if it cross as it is pullback nearing 100MA and we could ride it up ... add on breakout of 45cents!!

ALWAYS stick to a system, to be able to be consistent. 

So ... ask if u don't understand the AEMULUS chart here and the strategy we could be applying in this case. 

As I m not taking AEMULUS, i wont mind checking on it.

note : A FB friend is interested to buy AEMULUS ... I wondered why?

Nasdaq SELLDOWN in US

 morning ... US selldown, NASDAQ100 ...bleeding further, confirmation of reversal. To add into my short-Nasdaq. good. 

Technology Index : I still have some positions in a tech-stock but as Nasdaq selldown in tech ... avoid tech-related stocks such as INARI etc? Oversold n fear = a buy? Prepare for more downside. Time to exit or reduce ...

with that note, I need to cutloss today ... keep the cash. lose the RM500.

Time to REDUCE positions

 Friday 12.30 pm ... it is time for me to reduce my exposures ...been active for 3 weeks trading stocks up up ... good profits but we need to know WHEN to pause ...reduce and GET AWAY.

Rest ... go Malacca to relax and enjoy with family... eat durian. haha.

Financial Index : going higher and higher

 morning ... 6.45am. checking the trades and charts ... as I m travelling to Malacca today. My wife likes the 'Chef Wan' restaurant , so we would be staying somewhere there ... haha. 

So, today would be half-day ... taking off after lunch.

Finance Index weekly chart showing a STRONG buy, strong uptrend and it pulls whole KLCI up , above 1600 now ... and someone upgraded KLCI to 1700 above now!! More upgrades coming ...with this news ...

so ... BUY BUY BUY banking stocks!!

Stock Watch : MahSing

 morning ... 7.30am ... planning for my trades for today.

in trading there are LOSSES ... I have lost many trades ...yesterday, I lost RM500 in NovaMSC ... cutloss as it dived. 

So ... yes, I do have stocks in paperloss too ... some down 30-40% . those I m inside China-stocks and shorting NASDAQ100 ... ouch!!

Last night Nasdaq hit NEW HIGH before it dived. 

Today, it is MAHSING ... new high breakout of 1.85 yesterday ... so, time to RIDE IT UP .

Improving fundamentals ... and good to hold it up, ya.

Profit from trading : Natgate

 NatGate : bought breakout , sold for RM400 yesterday. 

Day-trade ... contra-trade .. and swing trading. FOCUS to profit everyday, shifting from one stock to another ... I sold GREATEC for profits and took in Natgate (FYI).

Now I dont have Greatec or Natgate but taken RM700 of them ... 

So ... can I get another profiting day today ... we shall see how my Frontkn works ...

Stock Watch : Slvest (code : 0215)

 morning ... 7.15 am, Tuesday ... yesterday was off day for KLSE but HKSE opened and was busy q-ing to catch some stocks diving ... not done. 

Went to Klang for lunch ... and Aeon-Bukit Tinggi for jalan-jalan. Nice large mall ...loooong time no go there, actually. 

Today would be a busy day as market KLSE resumes ... and I have few in hands to sell and few in minds to buy. Being a trader, we ALWAYS have something in mind ... and in hands. 

Disclaimer : NOT A BUY or SELL ... just jotting on thoughts on stocks which I m trading UP.

Slvest : in play with the RE (renewable energy) and energy-saving kinda play ... with gov's initiatives.

So, my focus is SIMPLE : THEME PLAY. and UPTREND.

Let them all talk about how CapitalA sell planes to AAX ... or if Saprng would be delisted or lifted up from PN17. 

We FOCUS in theme play ..and PROFITS IS THE ULTIMATE motives in trading. 

So ... hope more would join in my trading group (closed) again , especially those left my stock-watch (SW) group ... come back leh. Time to profits ... as I m much more experienced and knowledgeable now!!

Sunday is an off-day

 6.45 am ... morning. woke up around 6am, a little late as it is SUNDAY. Saw the results, it would be ENGLAND vs Netherlands ...in the Euro-semi. Great!! Though they criticize pintu-selatan (SouthGate)

I am more interested with the on-going junior-badminton tournament ... only our MD-boys done brilliantly to enter final ... they are the up-coming ranked #80 at the moment ... by year-end , hopefully they could break into top-50. watch the final later. Justin also in final (Oceania) ... 

Yes, I personally watch BADMINTON , not football... except LIVERPOOL's game ... I don't even watch England's game tho I m a supporter ... I don't even watch world-cup, ya. 

But I watch MALAYSIA's badminton ... because I like badminton.

HK-stock : going to buy this one next week or so ... would be back to busy buying China-stocks again after I sold most of them (except Wuxi in huge paperloss to average down). 

Ok ... time for a walk, the rain stopped.

 morning ... 8.30am ... done gardening, clearing trash .. etc. phew. Taken bath and checking charts now. 

ACE-Index : Bottoming-out ... do homework to check on ACE-stocks this long weekend while travelling away to look for durian!! haha

Love the gloves

 5.55 am ... morning ...TGIF. I do not have classes on Friday ... so woke up a little late ...to go exercise a bit and do gardening later ...

If I don't blog now, I might forget later ...that is how forgetful I am.

Yesterday was my losing-day, cutloss and taken a few day-trades and lost too. After 3 very good day, the air went into my head and I punched myself ...into the ego of winning. 

Serve me right ... a reminder to stay ON THE GROUND. Be humble ...if I m to win in my trades. 

Treated my family to nice dinner ... bought myself 3 pairs of nice shorts  (from deca-Empire) ... had a nice coffee. Reflect on my losses ... and let's re-start

Sell  losers, add winners ... so I sold off many to ADD into my winners. One of them are GLOVES ... was holding to two stocks (gloves) in paper profits ... and adding in. 

Yesterday, I bought more gloves stocks ... as I love those glove-stocks ...good for trading(investing too).

TopGlove : nice ... so? 

I don't read news on WHY gloves moving yesterday ... all I know is SELL my laggards in hands, even at small losses ... I need the funds to BUY into winners .. and ADD into performing stocks or sectors. 

Kossan : nice ... so?

Knowing something in play and nice is NOT enough ...everyone knows that. Knowledge nowadays is easily available thru net ... click few buttons , u get all the info u want ... information OVERLOAD. 

So, stay focus ... DO NOT read much those info as it is out there for a reason ... and NOT for you to profit from the news!

One may check Harta or Supermax ... should be nice too ... or smaller ones.
